Hi - thanks for your bug report! I can reproduce this issue as described on
Fedora KDE 41.

For what it's worth, as a workaround, any action that resizes the split views
(including directly moving the split lines, hiding the main toolbar, etc.),
seems to put the search popups in their correct places.
