I can only assume nobody working on konsole actually uses any even mildly
"advanced" shell features or any of the common TUI applications, because
without a way to disable *all* single-modifier accelerators (or better yet, not
intercept any keyboard shortcuts at all) konsole is effectively unusable for
such purposes.
This isn't just the toolbar either (which always catches "standard"
single-modifier combos, even when they're set to something else in konsole's
"Configure Keyboard Shortcuts"), the option to "Enable Menu Accelerators"
doesn't work either (#478515), those too are always enabled with default
bindings regardless of setting.
AFAICT it's been that way since the port to QT6, and it's had no attention
since... So either nobody tested it, or "port to QT6" is considered more
important than "works properly".
Mapping toolbar accelerators to something else isn't the answer (even if it
worked, which it does not), renaming toolbar buttons isn't the answer, and
hiding toolbars and menubars isn't the answer either.
Konsole is a terminal emulator. A terminal emulator needs to pass all
keystrokes to the shell. Period.
