I'm fine with having a write-only implementation, since pasting from the 
clipboard can already be done with ctrl+shift+v and a programmatic OSC 
52 paste implementation could be abused as previous messages in this 
thread have said. I do agree that having a setting to turn OSC 52 
handling on or off (and off by default) would be a nice addition to the 
current patch.
