Chinese characters work fine on my end (arch, source build, plasma). Would you
be able to provide the unicode characters not showing?

Also, this might be a local configuration issue. What fonts are you using in
konsole? Do they support these characters? (Hambuger menu -> edit current
profile -> appearance -> font)
