While using tmux and minicom, there are many grids in a terminal window. 
The minimum size, required and hardcoded by minicom, is 40x10.

So, when you create many tmux panes in a terminal window, and  running a
minicom command in each pane to monitor TTYs, you have to enlarge the terminal
window to avoid "Sorry. Your screen is too small."  error reported by minicom.

This is just one example of needing to resize terminal window, konsole here.
