konsole as terminal engine for developer oriented serial port terminal

Hello,

please can you direct me to a practical example how Konsole is to be 
embedded in different program?

I found that it's called Konsole part and thats what's embedded in kate 
editor and more.

But I can't find any document or minimalistic code example, that I will 
be able to comprehend.
