            Bug ID: 431678
Summary: Different Colors for stdout and stderr
           Product: konsole
           Version: 20.12.1
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: pat_h at web.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Sometimes, it's not clear if the output of a command came from the command's
stdout or from its stderr.
Therefore, it would be nice, if konsole could optionally color them
differently, e.g. by adding an option or an entry in the visual style or by
setting an environment variable or something similar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enter a command which partially fails in konsole, e.g. "ls / /root" as
normal user

OBSERVED RESULT
The result does not show which information came from stdout and which from
stderr

EXPECTED RESULT
It would be helpful if stderr could optionally be printed in, e.g., red
