            Bug ID: 431203
Summary: Alt+D does not delete the word in front of the cursor.
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian stable
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: keyboard
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: dontmuch at protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
One Bash shortcut I like and would use often in Konsole is Alt+D to delete the
group of alphanumeric characters in front of the cursor. This shortcut does not
work in Konsole. I have to work around by deleting one character at a time or
hopping ahead and using Ctrl+W or Alt+Backspace to delete backwards.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put cursor before text that you want to delete.
2. Press Alt and d.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
Alphanumeric characters were supposed to be cut to Bash's clipboard.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 4.19.0-13-amd64
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0
Qt Version: 5.11.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Thank you for your hacking or whatever you like to call programming.
