perhaps it's a longshot, but have you considered to use colors, or split screen
for those? tabs *will* be to crowded and we will need to remove parts of the
name.

on the splits, if you open them horizontally, you will have the full name of
the sessions at all times, and you can expand / shrink them when you need to
work on something fullscreen.
