Just to add one thing I noticed.
If I set the scale to 125% in settings then I see the lines appearing.
But If I set the force DPI of font and set he value from 96 to 120 (125%
scaling) in KDE font settings then I get pretty much usable scaling and I don't
get any lines anywhere.
