Hello,

  https://konsole.kde.org/get-involved.html has some good links; first 
get konsole building from git/invent. I would suggest using 
kdesrc-build.  You could help out w/ Bug triaging or by attempting to 
fix any bugs or wishes at bugs.kde.org.   We require merge-requests on 
invent now for patches.

Before you send too much time on something, you might want to ping the 
mailing-list to check on validity of the issue.
