How does the

off-by-one fix relate to Lucas' patch? Unfortunately this landed in qt 5.15, so
it didn't make it into KDE 5.18. 

There seems to be 2 issues causing line artifacts with scaling:
1) Underneath windows bleeding through (fixed by Lucas?)
2) Artifacts remaining after selecting text/screen scrolling. (fixed in qt
5.15?)

Is my understanding correct?
