Well, I don't use this while developing konsole, but to scroll trough
compilation  errors or log files when I'm reading. sometimes the text is too
similar and it's hard to keep track what scrolled, so this helps me.
The enabled on by default is to encourage people to test the features, as most
of the features - if off bu default - will not be visible to users.
