Can you send me the hash of your latest commit?
I tried to do the same thing here and for me, it did not fail.

What I tried:
ctrl + t (new tab)
ctrl + ) (new vertical split)
ctrl + d (close active view)

I also tried multiple variations of that:
ctrl + t
ctrl + ( (horizontal split)
ctrl + shift + w (close active session)

Mixing up with ctrl + ( and ctrl + ) for multiple tabs.

how did you download the sources? (what origin, we recently moved to
invent.kde.org)
