Just to be clear, this system is a linuxfromscratch build.  I did try to look
at the konsole source and can hard code a change to the scrollbar, but I can't
figure out how to change the color of the 'thumb/slider'  I can change the
outline of the thumb, but it is only one pixel wide and very faint.

Could this be a qt-5.12.1 issue?
