  Are you sure wherever you install konsole has the XDG_* vars set up properly?
  
  Namely konsole.knsrc needs to be in `XDG_CONFIG_DIRS` (defaults to `/etc/xdg/`) or `XDG_CONFIG_HOME` (defaults to `$HOME/.config/`)
