Yes, I did not read further, because your installation is incomplete. Indeed a
few themes are installed by default, and a light-text-on-black-background is
the default Konsole theme (to match the VT colors).

Of course it does. I doubt you have changed all environment variables to point
to your own paths, some are documented at
https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Build_from_source#Set_up_the_runtime_environment

I am resolving as invalid, until you have evidence that the bug is on our side.

For the GTK crash, please add a complete backtrace (e.g. by running it inside
gdb and using the 'bt' command after the crash).
