D8420: Unbreak TerminalInterfaceTest

REVISION SUMMARY
  the sleep() function somehow didn't let events be processed properly (slots were never called), so use QSignalSpy::wait() instead, which is made for this.

TEST PLAN
  all tests now pass here.
