            Bug ID: 376456
Summary: deleting history should delete the history file
           Product: konsole
           Version: 16.12.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: history
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: tiposchi at tiscali.it
  Target Milestone: ---

I have enabled unlimited scrollback in terminals, however, when I press "clear
scrollback and reset", I would expect the history file to be truncated to 0,
instead it remains huge.

This means that if a command (normally mpv on a damaged file) prints an
abnormally large amount of output, I need to close the terminal to free up that
file, since it isn't deleted when clearing the scrollback.

Can you please truncate the file too?
