I was just beginning to fall in love with KDE Neon (and Konsole, for that
matter). I encountered this "feature" and thought it was a bug. This report
verifies that I am not alone. This behavior is unexpected and far less useful
than splitting the terminal window with a new session.

I would also like to help out on this problem, but do not know where to begin.
Maintainers, please advise. Thanks.
