            Bug ID: 370335
Summary: Konsole doesn't usually remember font settings the
                    first couple of times
           Product: konsole
           Version: 15.12.3
          Platform: Kubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kpart
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: bugs at xenhideout.nl

I am surprised I have not found this bug in the tracker.

For as long as I remember (I started using Kubuntu in Januari of 2015) Konsole
consistently forgets the font settings I have made. I have yet to learn why
this happens and why eventually ti does remember them, but it may have to do
with forcibly closing the application (by cross) while windows are open? I
don't know.

But consistently the first couple of time that I set the font to something
else, the next time it is reverted.

I managed last time to consistently make it work by CTRL-D (logout) the shell I
had opened instead of closing the window. I am not sure if instead there is
something that only works after you have done it a few times (or one time).

Other users have also reported this (e.g. in Kubuntu IRC channel).

There is a related bug here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=360424

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a fresh user account (suffices to wipe .local clean)
2. Start Konsole, change the font, keep working, close the program eventually
3. Restart it and find your settings have reverted.

Actual Results:
First few time you do this your settings are back to what they were before.

Expected Results:
You expect it to remember something.

This bug has been here in Kubuntu 14.10, 15.04, 15.10 and 16.04, most likely.
That is to say, I haven't actually used 15.10 (long) but I will venture that it
was present in all of them.
