When using the 'solarized' theme, text output that uses the ANSI escapes for
gray is not visible. it seems to use the same color as the background color.

It is okay with all other themes, including 'solarized light'.

It seem to be the same on "'Solarized' Color Scheme on Ubuntu Gnome 16.04" so
the issue might be in some share upstream code.
