Up to version 16.04.3  konsole worked as expected and commands like 

"konsole -e mpv --hwdec=vaapi --vo=vaapi foo.avi"

worked without a problem but after the release of konsole-16.08.0

the output of the command is now:

"Unknown options: hwdec, vo."

it seems konsole takes the -- options and doesn't foreward them to mpv.
