Fedora pushed out 15.04.3, which *sort of* fixes this problem. Things that are
fixed:

1) Leading text "Konsole output" has been removed
2) Pasting (either CTRL + V, or middle click) in to a Thunderbird message is
now clear text

Things that are still an issue

1) Pasting (either CTRL + V, or middle click) in to a Pidgin IM window still
includes formatting/color information
