[Konsole-devel] Help request - Terminal Size setting ignored (BZ #345403)

Can someone who is familiar with Qt/KDE applications please take a look
at this bug?

This an extremely annoying regression from KDE 4 for those of us who
prefer a fixed konsole startup size.  I've spent a fair bit of time with
gdb trying to figure out where the breakage is, and I believe I've
narrowed it down to some sort of resize event that's never being sent to
the application.  Since I'm not familiar with how this is *supposed* to
work, however, I can't really go any farther on my own.
