Thanks - sorry for the late reply.

The only issue I see ATM is that if the color scheme has opacity set (like 70%
background transparency in Color Scheme); the first time you hit this shortcut,
it appears to turn the opacity to 100%.  

Also, if you can try to use reviewboard.kde.org as it makes handling patches
easier.
