            Bug ID: 343321
           Summary: TerminalColumns setting is ignored
           Product: konsole
           Version: 3.0.1
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: mitchnull+kde at gmail.com

The "fixed terminal size" settings ("TerminalColumns", "TerminalRows" in the
profile settings file, "Columns" and "Rows" option on the "Edit Profile"
dialog) got broken with the 3.0.1 release. The TerminalRows setting still
works, but the TerminalColumns setting seems to be ignored, konsole starts up
with 70 columns (with default 11.0 pt fonts) or 63 columns (with 12.0 pt fonts)
no matter what I set there. (I would like 80x25 terminals always).

The last known "good" release that I tested is 2.14.2. (from the KDE Dev
Platform 4.14.3)

See also: bug 152385.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set TerminalRows to 25, TerminalColumns to 80
2. uncheck "Use current window size on next startup"
3. start new konsole window

Actual Results:
terminal starts up with 70x25 size

Expected Results:
terminal should start up with the configured 80x25 size
