Thanks Eike,

I'll take your word that the patches are not implemented properly and stay with
the official yakuake package.  It sounds like this might be harder to achieve
than I expected.  I'm not sure if the setting checkbox does work in certain
circumstances, otherwise, you may consider removing this setting until a
solution can be found.
