@Eike, what would you recommend if I would like to enable the 'start in same
directory as current tab' functionality?  The links to the patches proposed
above point to git forks of Yakuake.  Should I remove my current package
(yakuake 2.9.9-3 from Manjaro Linux community repo) and install from one of
these forks instead?  Or should I replace just (a) particular file(s)?  Are
there plans to integrate this patch into the official Yakuake?  If so, I could
just wait a bit.
