I agree with author that it could be a useful feature and just a couple of days
ago I wrote a patch http://lists.kde.org/?l=konsole-devel&m=136364250817789&w=2
. This patch adds an option to the Konsole settings to allow
close-on-middle-click. By default it's disabled, so no one who doesn't need it
will be affected.
