Bug ID: 314036
Summary: changing background transparency breaks color output
Classification: Unclassified
Product: konsole
Version: 2.9.5
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
Reporter: amade at asmblr.net
Konsole seems to use the same opacity for output colors as for background (or
maybe just tries to draw less assuming that background has the same color)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
get this: scie.nti.st/dist/256colors2.pl
Choose color theme with black background (White on Black, Linux Colors, etc.),
change its transparency to 50%
run colors script, notice that black is also made transparent (first in first
row, and top left of first square)
Choose color theme with white background (Black on White), change its
transparency to 50%
run colors script, notice that this time white is also made transparent (last
in second row, and bottom right in last square)
Expected Results:
Background transparency shouldn't affect colors
