If you're talking about opening multiple independent instances of konsole, yes,
I do often have konsole instances open on multiple desktops.  If you're talking
about opening one instance of konsole and flagging it to appear on multiple
desktops, I've never done that.

I'll hold off until it's clear what konsole is doing.  It's suspicious that two
 (or more) apps should be exhibiting the same behavior if there isn't a common
thread.  However, it may well be that FF doesn't care which desktop it restarts
on, and ends up on desktop 2 just because konsole has made 2 the current
desktop by starting there.  

I'll try to do some tests to dig into both of these.
