I've got this happened again (Still using old version - 2.5.4, don't want to
upgrade my working OS), and tried some workarounds:

Detaching tab removed doubled items from new window, but reattaching it back to
previous window still had the same menu items doubled. They were doubled for
more than one tab (sometimes I noticed that they are doubled just for single
tab).

So, next thing I tried is "Split view" which made all menu items normal again
(after that closing split view doesn't double menu), so this is better
workaround for window with multiple tabs.

@Jekyll - you are right, that appears to be common.

I can try to report some more findings using old version, now that it's known
that it also affects newer versions, but the occurrence is quite rare,
approximately once a month if I keep having Konsole open so long. Are there any
more details that could be interesting?
