I'm glad to tell you that this feature has been available since KDE SC 4.8 :)

I know Debian is still at KDE SC 4.7.4. So either push the Debian KDE team to
ship KDE SC 4.8, or compile konsole yourself(The good news is you can compile
the latest code of konsole as long as you have KDE SC 4.7+).
