            Bug ID: 296741
          Severity: grave
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
Summary: Cursor Spacing is off when using FreeMono medium in
                    Konsole
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: ronnybrendel at gmail.com
          Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: konsole

Created attachment 69883

cursor half way into the m

The cursor does not add enough space when typing some characters, like a or m.
Same have the right spacing.

This leads to the behavior that i cannot see my typed text because it is beyond
the cursor, but beyond the cursor is just white.

It works with bold and italic free mono.

This is very sad for me because regular freemono is the only bearable mono
font.
