Method A: fix bug first in master branch, then backport(git
cherry-pick) it into KDE/4.x branch
Method B: fix bug first in KDE/4.x branch, then merge KDE/4.x into master

It seems the development of Konsole currently follows method A.
However, I have noticed/heard that method B seems the (at least
theoretically) preferred one in other KDE repositories(kde-baseapps,
kde-workspace, etc)

The choice probably won't cause much difference for a small repository
like Konsole's. But I think it is better to make the preferred policy
clear in a explicit way so that all (potential) contributors follow it
consistently .

I personally prefer method A for its simplicity and flexibility :)
