Your observation is right. This is actually more like a limitation of current
design than a coding bug. I'm not sure what to do with this report.

As for your expected result, do you want Konsole to send the 'mc\n' string as
input into bash as if you have manually typed 'mc\n' ? Or, do you want mc to
replace bash as the main process in this tab/session ?
