If I try to select any text in any konsole window (containing only simple ASCII
characters), Konsole stops responding to input. 

I will attach a screenshot that shows the debug messages. The exact same crash
and debug messages happen inside Yakuake (only substituting "konsole" by
"yakuake").

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Konsole
2. Select some text with the mouse

Actual Results:  
Konsole freezes

Expected Results:  
The selected text would be highlighted and I would be able to copy it
