After upgrading to 4.9.0 both the tabbar and the menubar appeared on startup.
Both were disabled in my 4.8.4 profile.
Since 4.9.0 these settings are no longer shown in the profile editor.

(Only the command line options "--hide-tabbar --hide-menubar" could restore the
former behavior)
