[Konsole-devel] Advices are needed for some exisiting feature requests

Hi:

I took a look at some feature requests and would like to know your ideas 
on them.

Bug 195978 - Missing "seconds to detect silence" setting

     It is not hard to implement the logic part(I tried), because most 
prerequisites are already there. I am not sure about the UI part:

     1). under which part of EditProfileDialog should this option be 
placed? The 'Advanced' tab page is already quite crowded.
     2). should we provide a quick way of changing its value 
temporarily, like the HistorySizeDialog for the scrollback settings? I 
guess some uers may change its value quite often for different commands 
in the same session.

     I do not use this feature a lot, so advices are really needed.


Bug 214908 - "send signal" missing from gui

     Another missing feature from KDE3 konsole. I do not use this a lot, 
either. Shall we implement this?


Bug 212145 - set TERM to support 256 colors

     I have no opinion on this request. I just want to know what should 
we do ? Do it or close it?
