The suggestion sounds sensible and I think it is not hard to implement. Will
give it a try but can't promise anything.

One potential concern is users who are unaware of this feature (if it is
implemented) might accidentally middle click some tab and get confused  by that
unexpected paste when they switch to that tab later.
