Summary: hotkey to toggle background transparency
           Product: konsole
           Version: 2.7.2
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: akohlsmith-kde at mixdown.ca

Version: 2.7.2 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

This is a feature that I use extensively on iTerm2 for OSX. Sometimes I watch a
movie but want to hang out on IRC; I play the movie then enable transparency.
When I'm done I turn transparency back off because transparency doesn't work so
well when applied to other cases. With iTerm2 it's simple, Apple-U. I would
like the ability to do the same in konsole, instead of futzing around with a
half dozen mouse clicks and movements.
