OK, after testing on openSUSE 11.4 witk KDE 4.6.1 my conclusion is that this
patch is not good, because:

1. It removes the trailing colors from the display too, not only from copied 
text.
2. It also deletes trailing spaces which are actually in the text being
displayed!

(I tested it in vim with background: :hi normal ctermbg=blue. Interestingly
xterm can display the background color all the way till the end of lines, and
despite this it doesn't add unnecessary trailing spaces to the copied text,
moreover is doesn't delete trailing spaces from the actual text)
