Well, I applied that patch to
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/46/openSUSE_11.4/src/kdebase4-4.6.1-228.1.src.rpm
and generated the konsole*.rpm package from it. It seems to behave identically
to xterm. However, the original
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/46/openSUSE_11.4/i586/konsole-4.6.1-228.1.i586.rpm
also seems to be good.

What does it exactly mean?

Anyway I will continue using the newly compiled konsole package in order to
check whether it has issues. So far it seems to be OK.
