Summary: Konsole draws a hole in nearby windows when menu's are
                    clicked
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: rsimmons0 at gmail.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

When you have more than one window on your screen and Konsole is one of the
ones to the right and you click on one of Konsole's menus a hole the size of
the menu is drawn in the window of the application to the left of the Konsole
window. The hole seems to be exactly the size of the menu that opens in
Konsole and looks directly back to the desktop pattern. I have desktop effects
disabled, so it's not related to that.

It also seems to happen the first time the menu is drawn, if you click on
another menu, everything draws correctly.

The hole goes away when you bring the focus to that window and it is redrawn.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Konsole on the right side of the screen (I always open it so that it
covers the screen from top to bottom). Then open another window to the left
filling the rest of the screen (I have tried it with Chromium and another
Konsole window). Then click on one of the menus in the Konsole screen.

Actual Results:
You will see a menu sized hole appear in the left window that is not Konsole.

Expected Results:
Just a correctly drawn menu and no hole.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-27-generic
Compiler: cc
KDE 4.6
Kubuntu 10.10
Acer Aspire 3680-2633
