Antialiasing is a bad thing (tm) :-) That's why it is better to use
magnification - thus you can clearly distinguish the glyph (solid color) from
antialiased part (shades of different colors). Or, at least, it would be clear
that it is a bug and not a misconception.

You can check it another way: open OOo Writer, choose the same font as in your
Konsole, recreate the text and colors, and add bold attribute to one of the
words (preferably adjacent to the same word without bold attribute on the
page).
