Bug also appears in Debian's and Ubuntu's start-stop-daemon. Repeating (in
konsole):

# cat << EOF > /tmp/k
> #!/bin/sh
> exec konsole "$@"
> EOF
# chmod +x /tmp/k
# exec start-stop-daemon -x /tmp/k -S
