I'll add my voice to this being incredibly useful and symmetric (that is drag
and drop of files should do the same for dolphin as konsole thing copy or move)

A popup menu or better still configuable action would be a very apt compromise.

Personally I would use this feature many times a day and i don't like to mix
and match keyboard and mouse actions preferring a each interface to operate
separately.
