The reason for attaching this additional information is to indicate that the
Terminus font itself may not be the cause of the crash. Konsole crashed and
disappeared while the font selection dialog was open and successive fonts had
been selected for inspection prior to selection. Merely clicking on a different
font name, without clicking an OK button to accept the choice, was sufficient
to crash Konsole.
