Hello Alan,

this works for me in Konsole 2.4.3.

TESTCASE:
1. Konsole instance running, 3 tabs, current tab at /tmp
2. via Alt-F2: "konsole --workdir /usr/local"
3. A new konsole is opened, at /usr/local

Even when using "--new-tab" and opening the new konsole from a running konsole,
it works as expected.

Can you verify this with a later Konsole version, please?
If it still is a problem, please provide a testcase.
